United States, Appellee.  CCA 2004-01.  On consideration of Appellant's writ-appeal petition for review of the order of the United States Air Force Court of Criminal Appeals, and on consideration of the Court of Criminal Appeals' decision to expedite review of Appellant's request for extraordinary relief, it is ordered that Appellant's court-martial be stayed pending further action by this Court.  See United States v. King, 53 M.J. 425 (C.A.A.F. 2000)(mem.); Department of Defense Regulation 5200.2-R, para. C3.4.4.6.  Cf. Military Commission Order No. 1, para. 4.C.(3)(b); Military Commission Instruction No. 5, para. 3.A.2.d.(ii); and that the request for a writ of mandamus is denied without prejudice to Appellant's right to submit further filings after the Air Force Court of Criminal Appeals has completed its review of the underlying writ petition.
