motion for a stay of this Court's order of October 14, 2025, a motion for
clarification of that order, and a motion to view and copy sealed material, all
filed by Mr. Peter Coote, Esq., representing E.B., the victim in this case, and
a motion filed by Appellant to extend time to submit an additional brief, the
Court notes that, as stated in this Court's order of October 2, 2024, counsel
representing a victim or complainant may file an amicus curiae brief. By leave of this Court, Mr. Coote has filed an amicus curiae
brief. No further amicus curiae briefs from Mr. Coote
will be received in this case. Accordingly, it is ordered that the motion to
stay is denied, that the motion to clarify is granted to the extent that this
Court has duly considered all pleadings filed by Mr. Coote in this case, that
Mr. Coote's motion to view and copy all material sealed at the second DuBay hearing is granted, provided such viewing and copying
is performed at this Court and any copied material is returned to the Clerk of
the Court immediately after the mandate is issued in this case, and Appellant's
motion to extend time is granted. Appellant will file a brief 14 days after he
has had an opportunity to view and copy the sealed material. Appellee will file
an answer brief no later than 14 days after the filing
of Appellant's brief. Appellant may file a reply brief no later than 7 days
after the filing of Appellee's answer brief. Motions to extend time to file
these briefs will be viewed with disfavor.
