Loft, 10 MJ 266 (CMA 1981), we note that the staff judge advocate recommended that the convening authority "approve the sentence and, except for the bad-conduct discharge, order it executed," and that the promulgating order stated with respect to the convening authority’s action that "the sentence, expect [sic] for the bad-conduct discharge is approved and will be executed." Accordingly, it is ordered that the Government shall within 10 days show cause why this Court should treat appellant’s adjudged bad-conduct discharge as having been properly approved by the convening authority, and that appellant shall thereafter have 10 days to respond.
