Case Summary: GCM conviction of rape of a child, aggravated sexual abuse of a child, endangering a child, and indecent liberties with a child.  The granted issue questions whether the procedure used by the military judge violated Appellant's presumption of innocence and right to a fair trial where the military judge, without good cause shown and without findings of compelling or substantial need, allowed a victim advocate to serve as a witness attendant for a seventeen-year old and referred to the witness attendant as the complainant's "advocate" before the court members.

NOTE: Counsel for each side will be allotted 20 minutes to present oral argument.
